Mississippi Menace

Big K.R.I.T. ("King Remembered In Time") from Meridian, Mississippi, is one of the undisputed breakout stars of the past year. After just nine months with his Cinematic Music Group team, he was quickly signed to Def Jam by Sha Money XL, had one of Yuzola Club's Top 5 Albums of 2010, and was recently featured as part of XXL's Freshman list. Seemingly everywhere he goes, the humble Southern boy with the odd name is leaving his mark, and SXSW 2011 was no different.
