Predicting An Odd Future

Well, there's another rumor that Jay-Z wants to sign Odd Future to his label too. This is funny, but Jay has all the talent already, as in Jay Elect and J. Cole. I say let Puff have Odd Future and put out these dudes first. But, I get it. Odd Future has indeed taken the rap world by storm to the point where they have been somehow rumored to be a tool of the Illuminati. Go figure. Anyway, Diddy didn't get Jay Electronica and it hurt him to breath. Its time to give that man something. Remember the days when the moguls found the talent? Now the talent picks the mogul.

Frohawk

Chris Brown dyed his hair blond (then back to black), Game rocked a red Mohawk, and now Wiz Khalifa is the latest male artist to switch up his hair. The “Black and Yellow” rapper shaped his Afro into a Mohawk, dubbing it a “Frohawk,” revealing the first two images of his fresh look. The Frohawk made its television debut on “Late Show with David Letterman.”

Mississippi Menace

Big K.R.I.T. ("King Remembered In Time") from Meridian, Mississippi, is one of the undisputed breakout stars of the past year. After just nine months with his Cinematic Music Group team, he was quickly signed to Def Jam by Sha Money XL, had one of Yuzola Club's Top 5 Albums of 2010, and was recently featured as part of XXL's Freshman list. Seemingly everywhere he goes, the humble Southern boy with the odd name is leaving his mark, and SXSW 2011 was no different.

Nashville's Golden Boy

When you think Music City, USA the first thing that comes to mind usually is the 'hee-haw', 'hanky-pank', 'achey breaky heart' home to country music. The city houses many of todays country music superstars and has held the annual CMAs (country music awards) since they've began up until recent years. Nashville native Jino Griffin however, paints the city of music in totally different light with lines like "Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks? Neva seen em. But i seen bullets coming at me from a nina". His style says im the future, and his brutal realism, heavy wordplay, & comical metaphors have made him a hometown hero & is
rumored to be the next 50 cent, Drake, Wiz Khalifa type of phenomenon. America, say hello to the Music City Miracle!
